Fractals!

well ok not all of these are fractals but yk

Strange Attractors

strange attractors are a cool topic in dynamical systems. but idk about all that they just look pretty. these images are not really strange attractors but they bear a resemblance. generated by this tool i wrote in high school

a twisted twirly dark green shape on a light green background a twisted twirly blue shape on a pink background. its borderline a garish color combo a twisted twirly dark purple-black shape on a tanish-yellow background. wow i really don't have a way with words a a blue wavy shape. it bears only some resemblance to waves a light slug-shaped blob with intricate patterns carved along its surface a blue sliver on a black background. it bears a passing resemblance to a barred spiral galaxy a blue shape on a black background. looks kinda like a donut that got twisted inside out in a 4th dimension a blue whispy shape on a black background. it looks like a teapot or an elaphant or something

Julia Sets

julia sets are also a thing with dynamical systems but also just really pretty. they are closely tied to everyones favorite fractal, the mandelbrot set. pictures of these are a dime a dozen but i made these ones and i think theyre neat

a light pink julia set a very pink julia set a light green julia set a pinkish-purple, zoomed in portion of a julia set a second, pinkish-purple, zoomed in portion of a julia set an orange, zoomed in section of a julia set. it bears a little resemblance to a dragon blue biceps repeated 8 times

Bitwise Pictures

this is a collection of fun images found when messing around with generating a Sierpiński Triangle in a fragment shader. then i kept changing values about the formula and kept getting neat results

a bizzare green looking technical pattern 2 a bizzare green looking technical pattern 3 a bizzare green looking technical pattern 4 a bizzare green looking technical pattern 5 a bizzare green looking technical pattern 6 a bizzare tan looking technical pattern 1
